The print edition of White Chimney was founded in May of 2007. Based in London, U.K. this A4, 32 page and full colour journal, was established to promote the work of both published and unpublished poets, short story writers, playwrights and artists, internationally. Very few literary publications have an open submissions policy and White Chimney prides itself on diversity and its ability to reach new audiences. The team is comprised of a handful of freelance arts professionals, with it's founder poet, Chishimba Chisala. White Chimney is published twice a year Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.

The White Chimney name is dedicated to all the pupils and teachers, who have traipsed through the corridors of Sedgehill Secondary School, in South East London.
